Current Stamp Price 2024 Australia. Australia post has signalled their intention to increase the cost of stamps from next month. The price of a stamp is set to rise to $1.50 as a result of a new plan being approved by the consumer watchdog.
The competition regulator has approved a 25 per cent rise in the price of postage stamps for ordinary letters to $1.50 next month. Australia post has lodged a notification with the australian competition and consumer commission proposing to increase the price of the basic postage stamp from $1.20 to $1.50 from january 2024.
